We’ve got some top secret plans in the works….so don’t be surprised if you see some major changes around here in the next few months.

The competition scene is looking to be huge this year, we’ve got a few competitions locked in and are working on putting together a speed trials national series in conjunction with the 24 hour series from Granny Gear and the Spectra Sport cycling events at the NJ state fair… Right now we’ve got the possibility of over 7 comps in the works! Big things for Trialsin!

Avalon Indoor Comp — no more.

So the first annual Avalon Indoor comp looks like it was the only one. I sit here today sore and tired as hell after moving all the Trialsin.com stock, my entire apartment (including the kitchen sink, counters, cabinets, and refrigerator) out of the Avalon Cycles compound over the weekend. I am now the pround renter of a 10×20 storage unit and am officially homeless…unless you count mom’s house and girlfriend’s house

Avalon cycles apparantly couldn’t make a go of it and will be closing down January 1st.

We may be able to sort out a warehouse in Baltimore — but at this point there is no garantee — in either case it won’t be Avalon, that’s for sure.

MOE Cranks just in!

Just got a box of crazy sweet trials cranks. These are the best cranks I”ve seen since the Tryalls came out. 7075 T6 series aluminum so they are light, stiff, and strong. ISIS drive. And none of those steel pedal inserts to add weight and strip out on you at the wrong time…. MOE may have struck gold with these, especially at 90 dollars! Pictures will be up tomorrow.

Meta Promo pricing is over…

Sad news… The Meta guys have depleted their stock to the point that they can nolonger offer the crazy cheap pricing on their bikes.

In other news we just got a line on some awesome cranks from MOE. They should arrive in a few weeks..just in time for the fall riding season. 7005 aluminum, plenty of sweep, ISIS bottom bracket compatible and a price that’s right on the sweet spot.

2008 USA Cycling National Championships…

The USA Cycling National Trials Championships at Mount Snow Vermont are over and I’ve been reminiscing a little…. This year there were four total entrants in the competition, but the crowds and excitement level were unlike anything I’ve seen in the USA for a LONG time.
