Found this bit of news over on ObservedTrials.net...James killed it at worlds last year, I'm happy to see he's riding for a company from his home country!

Meta is happy to announce that James Barton has joined Meta Bikes as a team rider for the 2009 season. James will be competing and performing in demos along with Trevor Bodogh and the Meta Bikes Trials Team on both the 20" and 26" bikes. James will also be involved in the design and testing of the 2010 competition trial bikes from Meta. You can expect a series of videos from James to show the capabilities of both bikes starting in the spring. Please join us in welcoming James to the Meta Bikes team! Jon Hendriks www.metabike.com |

Sorry for the bad picture quality. We did some demos with James a week ago, and I was riding also so I couldn’t take any good pictures. I missed some very big sidehops (around 135cm), not small but James made it look easy! James was also practicing some freestyle BMX over the winter, and he is getting very good at this too! You can expect some video of BMX, and some other styles coming from James this summer. |
